What would you do if you couldn’t fail?

Failure… such a powerful word.

The thought of failure creates doubt around what we believe we could do, create, obtain or become.

The possibility of failure causes us to pause and rethink whether we want to take action or continue analyzing a potential path forward (possibly forever).

The fear of failure cripples us and continues to cement our location, status and position in the world – limiting our ability to change and grow.

Rather than risk experiencing failure, how often do we instead choose to accept things as the way they are, not take the risks, avoid the conflict, or remain in our comfort zone?

But what if…

What if… you couldn’t fail?

What would you do? How would you think? What would you become?

Failure is an Illusion – See Past the Lie

In order to reach our potential… to become the very best version of ourselves… we must refuse to be crippled by the potential of failure.

Failing, or being a failure cannot have a place in our vocabulary or head space…

The world deserves your gifts, your talents, your contributions, and your very best version of you – so let’s allow ourselves to deliver to the world.

So what would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Would you go out for the team rather than fear being cut?

Would you ask that girl or guy out on a date rather than fear being rejected?

Would you start the business you’ve always dreamed about and become your own boss rather than fear the possibility of not making it?

Would you be your 100% authentic self vs. being what everyone expects you to be rather than fear not being accepted?

Would you… fill in your story here…

Today I want to call you to embrace the potential of all that could be rather than the fear of whatever could possibly go wrong.

Put the doubts, potential regrets and limiting beliefs behind you – it’s time to live as if you could not fail.

It’s time to live the life of your dreams because you cannot fail.

It’s time to reach out and grab the opportunities in front of you because you will not fail.

It is time.

Challenge your beliefs around why something wouldn’t work or fall flat.

Remove your doubts about what you can do and do it!

Become more.

I know what you might be asking yourself… Why, all of a sudden, can’t I fail?

Well, it’s a good question… and I’m here to open your eyes to a new way of thinking.

The honest to God truth is that you don’t have to fear failing if you choose not to accept failing or being a failure as an option.

Failure or failing only becomes a real thing when we allow it to be.

We fail only when we choose to stop trying.

And we become a failure only when we choose to see ourselves as a failure.

My point is that if we refuse to accept failure in our lives, then what others may call failure, we can begin to call learning.

And that learning brings us one rep, one yard, or one play closer to crossing the goal line – closer to success.

Did you try something recently that didn’t work?  Good!  Keep trying and getting after it!  You did not fail, you just took one step closer to finding something that will work!

So please, erase the concept of failure from your mind and replace it with an insatiable desire to learnexperiment, and evolve.

If we choose to keep learning and keep trying, it is my firm belief that we will never fail.

So with that, let me leave you with one more thought that I hope you will carry with you going forward.

Failure is not real… failure is a state of mind – don’t let it be yours. #unleash
