How many of us yearn to be truly happy in life? I would guess pretty much all of us! It's a noble and aspirational pursuit. But are we chasing happiness? Do we feel as though we are going after a moving target? For instance, do you hear yourself saying any of these things: 'once I get this, or once I have that, or once I achieve this goal I will be happy'? Again, we should all be able to have our moments of happiness, but I want to challenge the notion of whether or not it is worth chasing...

What does the future hold for you? What does the future hold for any of us? Will it be filled with memories of great accomplishments, experiences and realized goals, or will it be filled with regret for not doing the things that truly mattered? Since we don't really know what the future has in store for us, perhaps the more appropriate question is what do we believe that we can do, be and become in the future? So, what do you think? Let Your Character Create Your Legacy

In sports, a player's legacy is often cemented by incredible stats, broken records and championships. The truly great are even enshrined in their sport's Hall of Fame. Fans of all ages will walk the halls of those Hall of Fame buildings and be reminded of their greatness for years to come. And what about the rest of us? Is it really about what we do that defines a meaningful legacy, or is it more about what we spent our time being and becoming throughout our lives? Keep Getting Up

No matter how much we train, invest, prepare, or strategize to achieve a goal, sometimes we just get knocked down. Maybe the other team trained and prepared just a little harder.  Perhaps we missed a detail on the business deal and things fell through. Maybe the job promotion went to someone else.  Maybe an unexpected storm came out of nowhere to ruin our vacation plans. Whatever it is, and no matter how hard we get knocked down, we must always be willing to dig deep and pull ourselves up again.
